even if you weren’t wearing our clothing. Every quarter, we will choose
a featured photograph. If this photo belongs to you, you will receive

Giraffe
South Africa, 2003; Haley Vines
w/ Blue Wildebeest; Total Score 80 3/8 SCI—This was the first
animal I had the opportunity to take in Africa! I was so
excited! Keep in mind, this was 2003… before ladies’ hunting
apparel existed.
South Africa, 2003; Nancy, Danny,
and Haley Vines with Haley’s first Wildebeest—This is me,
my Mom, and my Dad with my first African animal!
South Africa, 2003; Nancy and
Haley Vines-- Oh my goodness! What are we wearing?! This
picture, alone, is enough to keep me motivated with new designs!
I now know why women are so excited to see a new women’s
hunting clothing line!
South Africa, 2003; Haley Vines
w/ Steenbok; Total Score 11 1/16 SCI—The steenbok was the
only animal I took from the Mini Ten group. Hopefully, my
future African Safaris will bring me closer to that goal.
South Africa, 2003; Haley Vines
and John Abraham w/ Haley’s Greater Southern Kudu; Total
Score: 127 1/8—This is me with the professional hunter, John.
He definitely runs one of the best outfits in Africa. I
would suggest Madubula Safaris to any intense hunter looking
for a memorable safari.
South Africa, 2003; Haley, Nancy,
and Danny Vines—With my first ever kudu!
South Africa, 2003; Haley Vines
w/ Cape Eland; Total Score 86 7/8—The Eland is one of my
favorites! We had to go several miles to bag this one and
I ended up taking my zebra in the middle of the eland stalk.
This is the pesky wild dog that
attempted to drag my zebra away. After shooting my zebra
we had to hike several more miles to get the eland. When
we returned to the zebra, the dogs had already given him
a once over and were attempting to drag him away!
Haley Vines w/ Zebra—As you
will notice, the wild dog had no intention of leaving his
newly found zebra. While I do have a smile on my face, I
have to admit that I was a little worried about the crazy
animal panting over my shoulder! Luckily, he didn’t make
any sudden moves and I was able to leave with at least some
of my zebra.
Impala
Male Elephant—When we drove
up on this monster, our guide informed us that this elephant
was “full of mischief.” Apparently, only days before he
had chased down a research vehicle, put his tusks through
the cab and slammed the vehicle repeatedly into the dirt;
totaling the truck. Fortunately, no one was hurt or injured,
but we sure kept our distance.

This was my first doe with my bow PSE
Bow Madness XS! She was a BIG mama! This was my first season hunting
with a bow and the first deer that I got on the ground for the season!
She weighed in at 125lbs field dressed and what do you know, she
was the biggest doe we got all season! Haha I beat all the guys!
Let's hear it for the female hunters out there!!! Sarah Weaver
This buck is my first!!! I shot it in
Newton IL (Jasper County) with my. 50 TC Prohunter! My husband and
I spent a week out there hunting and this was the best buck I saw
all week! It just happened to be during the gun only season! We are
from PA and this was my first trip traveling out of state with an
outfitter to hunt! I couldn't have been happier! Can't wait to make
the trip out there again next year! Hopefully I can hunt the next
time in your camo! Sarah Weaver
Hi! It's so great to find another site
for women's hunting clothing. I am including my hunting picture from
August 2008. As you intimate on your website, the clothing is not
from your line....didn't know about you last year! This was my first
antelope, taken in Nevada and I was able to shoot him opening morning.
Thanks!
This is my first deer!! I've been hunting
3 years with a bow and finally got my first deer. Thanks for all
you do for women hunters. Jessica Flood
My name is Kelsey Anderson I'm 20 years
old and this is my 5x5 bull elk. I live for hunting and fishing in
the small town of Plains, MT. This is my second bull i've killed
in Montana with my .270 Winchester Mag. I was so happy my dad was
finally home to be with me when I got this guy! It was quite the
hunt! I hope that your camo is out for sale by next archery season!
This is a picture of my daughter and
I with my whitetail buck. I have shot many deer with my rifle, but
this was my first bow kill! I shot this buck near our house right
before church one Sunday morning. As soon as we got home from church
we went out to find my beautiful buck!! I was stoked!!

On the third weekend of October 2008,
I scored the hunting equivalent of a trifecta in our neck of the
woods! While scouting a location in a bean field for a deer hunt
later in the afternoon, I drove up on an armadillo scurrying out
of the field toward the woodline. I jumped out of the truck, grabbed
my bow and garnered my very first bow kill with my new Mathews DXT
(Hey, we all have to start somewhere!). A few hours later, on my
way to the bean field to get set up for a deer hunt, I spotted a
group of wild hogs in the distance. My husband grabbed the range
finder and told me they were too far…more than 250 yds away, but
I didn't (want to) hear that…I already had the largest one down with
my Remington Model 700 30-06, before heading off to my deer stand.
While I probably should've let the young 8-pointer walk, it just
didn't seem like the way the day should end, so I got this buck at
191 yds. All in all, it couldn't have been a more perfect day!!

I shot a little four point on 11/10/09.
It is not only my first buck but also my first deer with my bow.
I am sending in a picture for your gallery drawing. I am so excited
for your store to open. I hope that you have some well fitting cold
weather gear. Today was Opening day for gun season in Michigan. While
I was sitting out there in the dark trying not to fall asleep in
my stand I could not help but thinking how nice it would be to have
a warm outfit that actually fit instead of the bulky coat over many
layers that made it sorta hard to move around. I have found a few
womans stores but they are usually way higher priced than mens. I
cant wait to check out your online store.
Haley Vines with her Whitetail Buck;
Total Score- 151—We took this hunt two months before our first HV
hunting garments arrived… another year without real women’s hunting
gear!
South Texas Sunset
Haley Vines—I went on this hunt with
the Gar Guys; Steve Barclay and Sam Lovell. They are so much fun!
I would suggest them to anyone looking for a great East Texas experience.
By the way, this was the first hunt where I was able to field test
product from the HV Outdoor Collection. Check our new, lightweight
rubber boots on the home page.
This was the first hog I ever caught
alive! However, my brother does this on a regular basis. Without
him, I never would have had this opportunity. He owns his own hog
hunting outfit; Wild Vines Trophy Hunts. So if you’re ever looking
for a great East Texas hog hunt you should look him up at www.wildvinestrophyhunts.com.
This is Teresia preparing for her first
gator hunt. Steve Barclay from the Gar Guys took her out that day
while my Mom and I followed behind with the cameras. We always book
our hunts with these guys. They have a great rapport with many of
the land owners in East Texas, so they are notorious for finding
the biggest gators in this area. If you are ever looking for an
intense gator hunt or a great bow fishing excursion, these are the
guys to call! www.garguys.com
Teresia and Steve are setting off for
their stalk.
She got him! Perfect size for boots
and a purse! Obviously, she is excited… and doesn’t she look good
wearing hunting clothing that has been made for a woman!
The Gar Guys always get a little crazy
on their airboat!
Teresia Jenkins, Haley Vines, and Nancy
Vines—Look! We are actually wearing women’s hunting gear!
After a long night’s hunt, we are feeling
very proud of ourselves. This was actually the first live hog we
had caught for his outfit!
Nancy Vines with her whitetail buck
and her trusty Match Grade Arms 7mm08 feather light—It was cold as
blue blazes! I was sure wishing I had some waterproof, insulated
garments. Where was the Haley Vines Outdoor Collection then?!
Teresia Jenkins with her whitetail buck—It
was so cold! But we had a great time! Next season, I will have warm
women’s hunting clothing.
Teresia and Gary Jenkins & Nancy and
Danny Vines with Nancy’s whitetail buck—Despite the cold, we all
had a great time! Next year, the men will be wishing the HV Outdoor
Collection made hunting clothing for them!
Teresia Jenkins, Nancy Vines, and Haley
Vines—What a great time! Any woman can come out and learn to shoot
a shotgun, handgun, rifle or crossbow. You can also try your hand
at archery, fly fishing, or BB guns. The DIVAS really know how to
have a good time! If you ever want to go out for a day like this,
please visit www.divawow.com and find a clinic near you.
